Following the advantages in purchasing channels, sales network and retail management in duty-free business, China Duty Free Group (CDFG) activity explores Chinese travel retail market and strives to achieve the diversified development.

1) Airport Business

As for the market vacancy of high-end commercial retail in domestic terminals at Chinese airports, CDFG seizes the opportunity to open the “L'ile Du Luxe” that brings together world-class perfume, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry and watch brands and introduces many first-rate international luxury brands to Chinese airports successfully. Many L'ile Du Luxe and high-end stores are opened in Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Dalian, Xi'an, Chengdu, Guiyang, Shenyang, Changsha, etc. successively with a total area of over 10,000 sq. m., which pioneer the sales of international luxury goods in domestic terminals at Chinese airports.

2) Retail of Goods with Chinese Characteristics

As for the market vacancy of high-end and high value-added goods with Chinese characteristics, CDFG promotes the original retail brand of “Thousand-step Corridor”. Through independent product design, research and production, the “Thousand-step Corridor” becomes a sales platform for souvenirs with Chinese characteristics and covers ten categories of goods, including toys, stationery, clothing, bags & cases, food, household goods, etc.

3) High-speed Rail Business

In 2012, CDFG achieved a breakthrough in its travel retail by successfully winning the bidding of Shanghai Hongqiao High-speed Railway Station integrated commercial project and was responsible for managing the whole commercial area of the departure floor of the station, except catering and library areas. At present, China's high-speed rail is the largest commercial rail system in the world with the longest mileage and the most significant demands. CDFG expanded its business to high-speed rail business for the first time and realized the initial transformation from small-scale and single travel retail projects to large-scale and integrated ones.

4) Retail of Licensed Products
