CDFG-Lagardere Co., Ltd, a joint venture between China Duty Free Group Co., Ltd (“CDFG”) and Lagardere Travel Retail, held a global debut ceremony for its whole-new duty-free tobacco & liquor brand “Duty Zero by cdf” located at Hong Kong International Airport on November 16, and announced new commodity mix, new shopping experience and new customer service. As of November 18, in addition to the “guaranteed refund of two times price difference” available at the new “Duty Zero by cdf ” store, travelers to and from Hong Kong International Airport will see the new store introduce “the most comprehensive single malt Whisky mix ever available at Asia Pacific airports”, “the most comprehensive Asian wine & beverage product mix available at global airports”, “Hennessy Counter” in succession, as well as the first-time collection of local best food featuring genuine Hong Kong afternoon tea. Eight “Duty Zero by cdf ” duty-free tobacco & liquor stores with a total operating area of about 3400 sqm will be decorated phase by phase in the next months, expected to completed in next June, providing many highlights such as multiple interactive experience areas that allow travelers to embark on an unforgettable journey covering appreciation knowledge and workmanship.
To celebrate the first-time cooperation between two global travel retail brands, CDFG-Lagardere Co., Ltd will hold an unveiling ceremony for the whole-new brand, to be attended by President of CDFG Chen Guoqiang and COO of Lagardere Travel Retail Asia Pacific Emmanuel de Place; a famous artist Zhang Xiwen will also appear as special guest and demonstrate flair bartending skills on the spot; many business partners will also attend the cocktail party upon invitation.
