China Duty Free Group Debuted at 2016 China International Travel Mart
The three-day 2016 China International Travel Mart (CITM) opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 11 to 13, 2016. China National Travel Service Group made a debut at the event with the tourism, duty free business, hotel, real estate, logistics and other units under the flag. General Manager of China National Travel Service Group, Jiang Yan, Vice General Manager of China National Travel Service Group , President of China International Travel Service Corporation Limited (CITS), Li Gang, Vice General Manager of CITS and Chairman & General Manager of China Duty Free Group, Peng Hui, and relevant management of different business units under China National Travel Service Group, jointly participated in the opening ceremony. The business units under the flag of China National Travel Service Group participated in the event in the overall context of continuous heating of the tourism market, continuous growth of duty free consumption and alliance between powerful state-owned enterprises in the tourism industry. This has displayed the brand image of China National Travel Service Group as a new tourism flagship and attracted wide attention from domestic and overseas participants. On the morning of November 11, the booth of China Duty Free Group, a benchmark in the duty free and travel retail industry as well as a unique business unit under the flag of China National Travel Service Group, echoed the booths of the other business arms of China National Travel Service Group, which has presented the vast resource advantage of China National Travel Service Group in different segments of the tourism industry. On the booth covering more than 200 square meters, China Duty Free Group mainly exhibited its evolution for more than 30 years, core advantages and major projects, and promoted the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, the retail outlets in Cambodia and other overseas markets, and the membership system, which became the focus of the event. During the exhibition, buyers, media journalists and other exhibitors from home and abroad stopped at the booth for information and consultation, rendering a good interactive climate on the site.
The Administrator of the China National Tourism Administration, Li Jinzao, also arrived at the CITM and visited the booths of China National Travel Service Group. He highly recognized the representatives of the booths for their professionalism, devotion to work and imppressed by the heated consultation about cooperation on the site, hailed the achievements made by different business segments, and expect future development of China National Travel Service Group.
During the exhibition, Vice General Manager of CITS and Chairman & General Manager of China Duty Free Group, Peng Hui, received a live interview with People.com.cn. Peng Hui said that duty-free shopping emerged as a heated topic in the society in the context of growing enthusiasms of Chinese citizens for outbound travel, and China Duty Free Group, as the leader in China’s duty free industry, would target the duty free consumption demand, spare no effort for business innovation, continuously enhance the core capacity, develop duty free business with every effort and play a positive role in stimulating the development of the tourism economy and promoting the flow of high-end consumption back to China.
